What is Futureverse?

Futureverse is a roll up of 11 companies that aim to provide the tools, infrastructure and content to build an open metaverse. The roll up companies are: Altered State Machine (AI), Non-Fungible Labs (Fluf World etc), Sylo (decentralised communications), Centrapay (web3 payments), Centrapass (digital IDs), Immersve (multichain payments), Shadows Interactive (PartyBear), Altered Phoenix (gaming studio), ATEM Car Club (real life and digital car club), Centrality (NZ blockchain), DRx (digital streetwear) - the team have eluded to there being more companies involved that are unannounced

Goal of Futureverse?

Futureverse are building the ‘open metaverse operating system’ and want to build this together with the community and other partners. Anyone can build games and applications on or bring their content to the Futureverse infrastructure.

How?

Futureverse plan to onboard millions of users in a safe and familiar way (e.g think Amazon one click checkout), providing education as they go whilst ensuring users have control and ownership of their digital identity, content and assets. They have built the infrastructure and will use some of their companies (ATEM, ASM, NFL etc) to initially show how the tech works before partnering with companies to onboard more users.

We are told Futureverse has multiple big brand partnerships lined up to reach different market segments including sport, media, gaming, consumer goods, and music (FIFA, ABG, Cool Cats, Ripple, Ready Player One and more already announced). This will all happen on The Root Network which is live already (beta) and has a token ($ROOT) and some applications launching soon.
